Tasting Notes
Deep garnet purple. The nose opens with plum preserves, blackberry and mulberry, lifted by violet and sweet spice. The palate is medium bodied and velvety, with polished tannins framing crunchy black fruit and a fine, elegant finish.
Food Pairing
Roast rack of lamb, standing rib roast, duck breast with cherry sauce, mushroom and herb stuffed veal.
Serve at 17 to 18°C (63 to 65°F). Decant young vintages for an hour.
